Therapeutic Yoga 疗愈瑜伽
Therapeutic Yoga is a particularly effective practice for those recovering from, or living with, injury or illness. Therapeutic Yoga blends restorative yoga (supported postures), gentle yoga, breathwork, hands-on healing, and some message techniques combined in such a way that for those who need something gentle yet effective for bringing the body into balance and reducing stress.
The themed up class : Stiff shoulder & neck, Week Arm, Lower Back care and etc. The class will be as effective and good for those under stress and tired or also having hypertension.
We will be using props like massage roller, blocks and etc props and gentle asanas to help you into the pose . Some partner work might be involved for best effect.
Alignment - Iyengar Yoga Tradition
This Saturday 9am we will be beginning our Alignment class The class will be taught in Iyengar Yoga tradition. In practice Iyengar yoga focuses particularly on three aspects. Correct body alignment allows the body to develop harmoniously in an anatomically correct way so that the student suffers no injury or pain when practising correctly. As all bodies are different and people have different weaknesses and strengths. Mr Iyengar has also developed the use of props to help the body into the correct positions required. Props are objects like wooden blocks, chairs, blankets and belts that help one adjust or support oneself in the different postures so that one can work in a range of motion that is safe and effective
